Custom Metal Spun Cones

Columbia Metal Spinning draws upon more than 60 years of experience that incorporates the latest spinning technology, including that of metal cone spinning. While the conical shape is most frequently associated with items like rockets, missiles and bombshells, its unique shape lends itself to a variety of applications.

We manufacture cones in dimensions of 1” up to 45” in diameter, 1” to 30” in depth, and to tolerances of ±.010” to ±.060”. These precision products are offered in materials such as aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, steel (galvanized and stainless) along with several more exotic metals, with finishes applied as needed. By utilizing advanced CNC spinning technology, we can provide unsurpassed quality and repeatability. We also employ cutting edge inspection tools including CMM’s, Ultra Sonic Gauging, Surfometer, Faro Arm, Vernier Calipers and SPC Capabilities to ensure a quality product. All of these capabilities equal efficiency and flexibility that allow us to deliver runs from 1 to 10,000 and still be cost-effective, and with a turnaround time as short as one week (depending on size and tool type).
