Through the combined assistance of the City of Chicago and Wilbur Wright Junior College, Columbia Metal Spinning has achieved the Quality level of ISO/TS16949:2002. 

Columbia Metal Spinning has the capability to form and machine any material to conform to our customers stringent requirements. Most of our customers routinely require tolerances as tight as +/- .001" and Columbia Metal Spinning always deliveries well within that tight tolerance. We will utilize the latest measuring equipment available to achieve the highest quality with the most consistent results time and time again. Our measuring equipment is maintained through constant calibration and maintenance whether it is in house our through a certified and accredited Calibration lab maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. Our internal calibration is controlled by constant education in emerging technologies to utilize the latest and most accurate gages in our industry. The list below is a current evaluation of our measuring equipment we utilize on a day to day basis.

Columbia Metal Spinning also utilizes the latest in Statistical Process Control software to control our production. Whether your needs are a simple final inspection or a full blown PPAP warrant, we can supply you with any and all paperwork. Our Quality staff is fully trained in all aspects of SPC including in depth knowledge of Histograms, CPK,  PPK, DPMO, PPM and anything in between. What ever your quality needs are, Columbia Metal Spinning can satisify them. In addition to the current level of quality Columbia Metal SPinning brings to the table, our Quality Manager is currently working towards his Black Belt in Six Sigma. This level of quality and "waste" management and reduction will bring Columbia Metal Spinning setting the bar for quality in the metal spinning industry.
